Description

“Neurodivergence” is an umbrella term encompassing conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, OCD, trauma, and social anxiety. In this workshop, Disability Access Center (DAC) staff will provide faculty and staff with a basic understanding of neurodivergence and impacts of neurodivergence on students’ learning and participation in the classroom. The session will offer practical strategies for effectively teaching and creating inclusive learning environments for neurodivergent students.
