Description

Winter 2024 student development workshops with the Office of Multicultural Student Services, LGBTQ+ Western, and the Disability Access Center.

Join us for these workshops to develop knowledge and skills to foster inclusive, equitable communities. Attend just one, pick a few, or join us for a session on each topic. All students welcomed and encouraged to participate!


Being an Upstander: Intervening to Address Microaggressions and Bias Incidents

Topics covered will include factors impacting people’s willingness to speak up and intervene and ways to take action as an upstander. The session will include time to practice intervening to interrupt incidents of bias.
